Nadishastra-Based Pulse Diagnostic System.

Project Overview

Developed a pulse diagnostic device inspired by the traditional Indian technique of Nadishastra, designed to capture pulse signals through a high-sensitivity microphone. The device connects via USB to a mobile application that visualizes the pulse waveform, helping experts analyze and interpret health conditions for preventive care.

Digitization of Traditional Diagnosis

The system needed to support the traditional Nadishastra approach by enabling digital capture and visualization of human pulse patterns.

Mobile Application Integration

The device must connect to a mobile app via USB to transfer real-time pulse data, which is then graphically displayed for practitioner analysis.

Accurate and Non-Intrusive Sensing:

The microphone had to be sensitive enough to pick up subtle pulse vibrations while being comfortable and stable for patients during diagnosis.

Mass Manufacturing Ready

The product was designed with an initial production target of 5,000 units, requiring consistent hardware performance and streamlined assembly.
