Project Overview

Designed a robust and power-efficient underwater depth and temperature logging device to assist in identifying optimal crab harvesting zones. The system captures geo-tagged environmental data during dives and syncs with mobile or asset tracking platforms for analysis and strategic planning.

Environmental Data Logging for Crabbing

Crabs of certain species require specific underwater temperatures; hence, logging temperature data at various depths helps locate ideal harvesting zones.

Sensor-Based Logger Device

Developed a device equipped with depth and temperature sensors capable of transmitting data to a mobile app or asset tracker post-dive.

Geo-Location Tagged Data
